In order to allow the user to easily search for and input Chinese characters from Extension A and Extension B covered by the Song Founder ultra large character set typeface, the corresponding code table for Chinese characters from Extension A and Extension B (number consecutively) has been added specially to this help file. The format of code table is:

However, we do not suggest the user query in this vast code table directly; instead, the user should refer to the section on "How to input Chinese characters from the ultra large character set".

Recommended Software:

You may find that other OS, browser, registry, and font settings are successful, but these are the only ones I was able to make work properly (testing in all versions of Netscape and Mozilla failed, for example). There are several specific bugs I know of, such as the fact that IE cannot properly display Extension A characters unless you choose an appropriate font explicitly (something you will see with the XML file below, even if you have all the rest of the recommend software installed). The EOT files I generated for Extension A and B also strained the limits of the Web Embedding Fonts Tool (WEFT), and found some important bugs that were subsequently fixed by the great developers at Borware.

If the "No Font" version is chosen, then no font name will be specified and your brower will be the one to decide the font.

Note that the characters in Tables 1-4 have no surrogate code point column, and that Table 16 has some entries in the table that contain no entries in the surrogate code point column. This is because these are Extension A characters located within the BMP (Basic Multilingual Plane) and thus surrogate pairs are not needed to represent them.
